Overview

The aim of this course is to familiarise attendees with the various types of posture systems on the market, which are customisable, and their applications. Real case studies and their solutions will be presented.
The practical part will explore the components of the posture systems presented, the patient position on a suitable seat and the various technical modifications that can be applied.

Be aware of the various types of existing posture system
Apply the correct posture systems according to the patient’s pathology
Know the materials used to make posture systems
Study the biomechanics of the posture of patients in wheelchairs
