Together with Rete Ortho Reha Italia, a network of companies in the ortho-prosthetic sector adhering to the Confimi Industria Sanità system, we took part in Le radici del futuro (The future’s roots), 49th National SIMFER Congress, where the meeting Public purchasing procedures: the impact on patients and how to improve the delivery system took place. Taking part were Angelo Burini, speaking as Councillor of Confimi Industria Sanità, Dr. Massimo Pulin, President of Confimi Industria Sanità, and Dr. Pedro R.H. Tagliafierro, Vice-President of Confimi Industria Sanitaria.

They were four days full of seminars, presentations and meetings linked by the common thread of scientific identity, where new technologies, from robotics to virtual reality, and from instrumental diagnostic procedures to minimally invasive interventions were exhibited in a framework that was not only scientific, but also humanistic.
