Humantech Group concluded the month of March with the CME Course: “Electric knee and myoelectric upper limb prostheses” held on Friday, March 31st at the Torre De’ Roveri site.
It was an opportunity for course attendants to deepen and implement their knowledge of prosthetics, with a specific focus on electronic lower limb and myoelectric upper limb prostheses. In particular, they analysed how available technologies are changing prosthesis production methodology and the importance of the professional team in the approach to the amputee patient.
Special guest Luca from Karma On The Road, a non-profit association that aims to raise awareness about disability, told attendees his story, which demonstrates how crucial it is to find the right solution for a life without limbs.
