On Friday, November 25th, 2022, the Humantech Group headquarters in Torre De’ Roveri hosted the CME course “Neurosplinting. From prescription to application on the patient”.

Dr. Marcello Mercenaro, Surgeon Specialising in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, and Humantech Group Orthopaedic Technicians Dr. Michele Burini and Dr. Stefano Miloscio were speakers at the meeting.

The experts involved the attendees in a course that focused on the various stages of making a custom neurological brace: from clinical and functional assessment of the person, through the construction methods used for the neurological braces and their characteristics, to testing and delivery of the product.

During the practical session, the attendees were able to try on the various braces provided, so that they could assess the materials, product characteristics and comfort first-hand when performing daily motor movements.
