Overview
Choosing and prescribing a custom aid is an integral part of rehabilitation of a patient with motor impairment; development of specific skills and the availability of aids on the market have, over the years, made the approach to posture and mobility a fundamental element in improving the patient’s quality of life and autonomy.
Prescribing a mobility and/or postural aids therefore requires both clinical, technical and mechanical expertise, requiring the intervention and collaboration of a wide range of figures in order to achieve the best result. It also takes knowledge of the correct assessment procedures and the options available on the market.
The course will be structured with theoretical sections on the approach to mobility and posture, both from a clinical and technical point of view, combined with practical exercises to apply the theoretical principles analysed.
